Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Psalm 147:1

PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME

We have so much to thank God for! If we stop focusing on the negative and put the focus on the positive, we will soon see that we will never run short of things to be thankful for. If we are truly thankful for all that God has done and is doing in our life, we will praise Him.

I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Psalms 13:6

When feeling down and finding it hard to praise Him, listen to song "Sing Your Praise to the Lord". It will lift you up and get you on the right track.

Here are the words of the song:

Sing your praise to the Lord Come on everybody Stand up and sing one more hallelujah Sing your praise to the Lord I could never tell you just how much Good that it's gonna do you Just to sing

Anew The song your heart learned to sing When He first gave His life to you But life goes on and so must the song You gotta sing again The song born in your soul when You first gave your heart to Him Sing His praises once more

Sing your praise to the Lord Come on everybody Stand up and sing one more Hallelujah Sing your praise to the Lord I could never tell you just how much Good that it's gonna do you Just to sing

Aloud the song that someone is dying To hear down in the maddening crowd As you once were before you heard the song You gotta let them know the truth Is a light to shine upon the way that maybe they could go Sing Your praises once more

We see in Psalm 27:6 David brought 'a sacrifice of Joy' to the Lord.

"And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord."

Jeremiah 33:11 speaks of 'a sacrifice of praise' to the Lord.

"The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord."

So what are you waiting for? SING YOUR PRAISE TO THE LORD!

There is JOY to be found in singing to the Lord!

I want to encourage you to read these verses!

If Paul can sing praises to God from his prison cell, don't you think we could sing praises to Him in the midst of all our dirty dishes and clutter?!? Acts 16:25,"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them."

Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Psalm 147:1

If we don't praise Him, who will? Are you leaving it up to the rocks?

"And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Luke 19:37-40

Sure hope you are having a blessed week! One day away from the weekend! Almost there!
