What are you focused on this New Year? A child of God should be focused on Eternity!

This year we'll see the good and we'll see the bad, but our FOCUS should be on the LORD.

Focus on His POWER. Focus on His MERCY. Focus on His FORGIVENESS. Focus on His GRACIOUSNESS. Focus on His GOODNESS. Focus on His HOLINESS. Focus on His RIGHTEOUSNESS. Focus on His LOVE. Keep Your Focus on HIM!

2 Peter 1:5-9

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

As we all get settled back into our daily lives with school, work, etc., we need to often examine ourselves and make sure we are not going blind and remind ourselves that the same God who saved us from our sin still loves and and is still in control of all things!
