Finding Joy in the Journey

I'm here to remind myself, and to help others, to find Joy in the Journey of Motherhood.

As moms we all want our children to remember us as a Joyful mom. With so much negativity around us, it is sometimes easy to loose our Joy. But don't you worry for a another minute. Together, we are going to find our Joy again!

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,

my soul shall be joyful in my God;

for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,

he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,

as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,

and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels." Isaiah 61:10

We can't loose our salvation, but we can sure loose our Joy. David said in Psalms 51, " Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;". Just like David, we can go to our Heavenly Father to begin our journey of finding joy again. Psalms 16:11 says, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Habakkuk gives us a good example of finding Joy when it seems everything is falling apart all around us. In Chapter 3 he says, "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation."

John 16:24b says, "ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

He wants us to be joyful. If you are struggling to find it, ask Him, He will restore it unto you!

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

Romans 12:12
