It's Sunday!

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Psalm 122:1

Hey ladies! We need our Sundays! Don't you agree?!? We need a time to get away from the daily duties at home and work. A time to get together with our sisters and brothers in Christ to worship and fellowship together in His LoVe!

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; Acts 2:44

Sundays should be a refreshing time for us. Sundays should be a day where we can examine ourselves and see if we are living how God would have us live. A day where we can go and encourage our fellow believers.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25

Sundays should be a day where we look forward to going to the house of the Lord. Looking for a blessing and looking to be a blessing! It doesn't matter if you are a part of a small congregation or a large congregation, there is something you can do to be a blessing! And always there is a blessing to be found in the house of God.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20

Don't forget where you are going! Don't bring the world to church with you! Leave it all outside the doors. Go with your ears eager to hear truth, your mind clear from the clutter of life, and your heart ready to be touched by the Word!

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Timothy 3:15

ONE MORE THING TO REMEMBER... Sundays are a day for rest! You can get away with letting it all go today! Rest, it's Sunday! If it was okay for God to rest, it is okay for you to rest too! Matter a fact, it's the right thing to do!!!

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2:3
